Product Description:
Ranbar GS1409N colorless to brown-red irreversible photochromic pigment is a special pigment. The pigment is processed by microcapsule coating technology and has a diameter of 2-5um. The appearance is powdery and there is a protective coating layer on the surface. The film layer can protect the photochromic pigment from damage to its molecular structure due to high temperature, oxidation, etc., and has good stability and durability.

Ranbar Red GS1409N irreversible photochromic pigment can change color under the action of light, but this change is irreversible, that is, once the color change occurs, it cannot return to the original color state, usually used for disposable products or safety Marking and other fields, can be widely used in printing inks, coatings, plastics and other industries.

When Ranbar Red GS1409N irreversible photochromic pigment is exposed to light, structural changes will occur inside the pigment molecules, resulting in a change in color, resulting in a brownish-red color change. Unlike reversible photochromic pigments, these changes are permanent , can not be reversed back to the original state, when it loses the ultraviolet light, its color will still maintain the state after discoloration, and will not reverse to the color before the discoloration (Note: the pigment may change under special conditions such as above 80 ℃ yellow state).
