Product Description:
Ranbar Yellow GS3080 is a colorless to yellow photosensitive pigment that has been treated with microencapsulation technology and contains molecules that react chemically when exposed to ultraviolet (UV) radiation or other specific light sources. These molecules are able to absorb photons in ultraviolet light and undergo structural changes that alter their absorption and reflection properties. Photosensitive pigments can therefore change their color in response to incident light.

These molecules are able to absorb photons in ultraviolet light and undergo structural changes that alter their absorption and reflection properties. Photosensitive pigments can therefore change their color in response to incident light.
When a photosensitive pigment is in a dark or low-light environment, it usually remains "at rest" and displays a specific color. However, when exposed to the right light source, such as sunlight or artificial ultraviolet light, pigment molecules are excited and change into a new molecular configuration. This structure reflects or absorbs different wavelengths of light, causing the pigment to take on a color different from its original state.
Product Application:
One of the most common applications of photosensitive pigments is in eyeglass lenses, which contain photosensitive pigments that automatically darken in response to sunlight. When the wearer goes outdoors, the light-sensitive pigments in the lenses react to ultraviolet radiation, causing the lenses to darken and protecting the eyes from excessive brightness. Once the UV light is reduced, the pigment returns to its original state and the lens becomes transparent again.

Photosensitive pigments are also used in a variety of other applications, such as plastics, inks, coatings and textiles. They provide dynamic interactive elements to these products, allowing them to change color according to different lighting conditions. In addition, photosensitive pigments are also used in art and design, allowing artists to create attractive pieces that change their appearance according to the lighting environment.
Toxicity and Safety:
Photosensitive pigments are non-irritating to the skin, do not contain harmful substances to the human body, and meet the safety toy and food packaging specifications.

Storage method:
Photosensitive pigments should be stored in a sealed, dry, dark place, avoid strong light exposure, and prevent contact with strong acids and alkalis.
