Product Description:
Ranbar Green DP4010 is a spirooxazine UV color changing dye that can change from colorless to green. It can turn into bright green under sunlight or ultraviolet irradiation, and return to its original color (white/off-white) when it loses sunlight or ultraviolet irradiation. Ranbar UV color changing dye itself will not change color when exposed to light, and needs to be dissolved in other suitable carriers to achieve photochromic effect.

It is recommended to start with smaller additions and then add more until the desired color is obtained.

Precautions:
1、UV color changing dye need to be dissolved in a suitable medium (such as resin) to produce the phenomenon of light change, the polarity of the medium has a greater impact on the color change performance of this product, it is recommended to use before sampling to confirm the state of color development.
2, should be avoided and ultraviolet absorber used at the same time, the polarity of the high sensitivity, different additives or use of different substrates, may cause color difference.
3、Don't let it freeze when stored under 25 degree Celsius, because it will damage the coating layer of UV color change dye.
4、UV color changing dye are sensitive to the effects of solvents, pH and shear. It should be noted that there are differences in the performance of various colors, so each color should be thoroughly tested before commercial application.
5、The decomposition temperature of UV color changing dye is low, if there is a high-temperature process, it is recommended that the processing temperature is not higher than 220 degrees, and the processing time is not more than 30min, reducing the processing temperature or shortening the processing time at high temperature will help to improve the color change performance of the final product, and it is recommended that the customer conducts a small test before use.
6、UV color changing dye are easily affected by light, oxygen, pH and other factors in the environment. Long-term exposure to ultraviolet rays will produce light aging phenomenon, which will reduce the ability of photochromic dyes to change color, and the intuition is that the service life is shortened or even the loss of the ability of photochromic dyes, so please pay attention to the sealing of containers, and store them in a dry place away from light.
