Ranbar Pink SW1220 is a new type of temperature-activated powder pigment microcapsule colorant, with an average particle size of 3-12 um. The microcapsule is coated with invisible dyes, color developers, and temperature controllers so that temperature-activated powder pigments that change color in different temperature intervals can be produced through the selection of different temperature control factors.

Thermochromic pigments are a special type of colorant that requires a certain temperature to change color and can change color repeatedly as the temperature rises and falls. When the temperature reaches the specified temperature, it will change color, when the temperature is lower than the specified temperature, the color will change back to the original color. The temperature range of the color change is 0-70℃, and we also support customized color change temperature values.
There are many kinds of colors of temperature activated powder pigments, and the temperature range of color change can be adjusted. Different series of thermochromic pigments can also be matched with each other and put together, so that more colorful colors can be obtained, thus creating gorgeous products with various colors and color change under different temperatures.
Matching the basic colors of temperature-activated powder pigments with each other according to a certain proportion, we can get the color-changing effect from transition color to colorless color, as shown in the following figure:

Temperature activated powder pigment applications:
Plastics: It can be used in injection and extrusion molding of transparent or semi-transparent plastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), soft polyvinyl chloride (S-PVC), AS, and ABS. It can also be mixed into unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, plexiglass, or nylon monomer within the casting, molding, curing molding.
Plastics: It can be used in injection and extrusion molding of transparent or semi-transparent plastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polystyrene (PS), soft polyvinyl chloride (S-PVC), AS, and ABS. It can also be mixed into unsaturated polyester, epoxy resin, plexiglass, or nylon monomer within the casting, molding, curing molding.
Coating: suitable for surface coating of all kinds of plastic products, including ABS, PE, PP, PS, PVC, EVA, and other plastic materials.
Inks: Suitable for all types of printing, including screen, gravure, and letterpress, on a wide range of materials including textiles, paper, synthetic films, glass, ceramics, and wood.
Temperature activated powder pigments are simple to use, simply add the pigment to a clear base and mix thoroughly. It should be noted that mixing generates heat, which may temporarily change the color of the mixture. It is recommended to start with a very small amount of temperature activated powder pigment and then add more until the desired color is achieved. A ratio of 1 part pigment to 20 parts base material is recommended.
