Product Description:
Ranbar WS6020 is a bright violet Thermochromic powder pigment, which adopts the microcapsule coating technology, and can be caused by temperature-induced changes in the chemical structure and thus the color change, when the temperature rises to a specific active temperature, it will be changed from colorless to violet, and the color can be changed to the original color after the temperature becomes low.

Ranbar WS6020 Thermochromic pigment is in the form of fine spherical powder, with thermochromic pigment inside and an insoluble transparent coating outside. Due to its sensitivity to the external environment, the coating layer strengthens its stability and chemical resistance, protects it from the erosion of other chemicals, and enhances the applicability of the product.
Dosage of thermochromic pigment:
It is recommended to use 0.5% to 2% of thermochromic pigment for resin or plastic castings or any other thick products. If the product material is already colored, up to 2.5% of thermochromic pigment should be used. Note that titanium dioxide, calcium carbonate, carbon black, flame retardants or other plastic fillers can override the color of thermochromic pigments. For printing inks and paints, an addition of 8-12% is recommended.
