Ranbar I4130LC cadmium red pigment is insoluble in water, alkali, and organic solvents, slightly soluble in dilute hydrochloric acid, and soluble in concentrated acid will release toxic gas hydrogen selenide H2Se and hydrogen sulfide H2S.
