Ranbar K Series Fluorescent Pigment Powders

Ranbar K series fluorescent pigments for plastics are a group of conventional and economical fluorescent coloring products for soft plastics, which have bright colors, strong coloring power, strong fluorescent effect, good easy mixing performance and good non-stick screw.

K series fluorescent pigments are temperature resistant to 180℃, and the softening point is relatively low (around 80-90℃), so they do not need a high temperature to play the coloring power, and they can achieve excellent dispersion effect and no formaldehyde gas emission in the temperature range of 135℃-220℃, especially recommended for the coloring of plastic products with low-temperature processing temperature, and suitable for extrusion, blow molding, blown film and other processes.

Performance parameters:
Coloring power 100±5%
Specific gravity 1.20g/cm³
Average particle size ≤100µm

Product application:
1.The main production processes of fluorescent pigments in plastic products are: injection molding, blow molding, blow molding, extrusion, kneading, etc.
2. Dissolve and disperse the thermoplastic fluorescent pigment in plastic products under high temperature.
3. The fluorescence of the product is related to the fluorescence of the fluorescent pigment used and the compatibility of the plastic product, the temperature and time of the operation process, etc.
4.Some additive will change the color of fluorescent pigment and lose the luster, which will have harmful effect on the color, and need to test its effect on the pigment before use.

Recommended pigment concentrations:
Thickness (mm) Recommended concentration (%) Thickness (mm) Recommended concentration (%)
0.1-0.25 5-10 0.25-0.75 3-7
0.75-1.5 2-3 1.5 or more 1-2

When applied to pure, transparent plastic compounds, the K series is very bright colors and have side effects on color if used in plastics with hiding power or mixed with other pigments, resulting in hue deviation or haze. The pigment concentration required to achieve the fluorescent effect is related to the thickness of the plastic sheet (the customer can decide the amount to be added according to their needs).

Storage and transportation:
Ranbar K series fluorescent pigment powder can be stored for a long time in a light-proof, dry, and normal temperature environment without affecting the quality and use effect. If in a humid and high-temperature environment, it is easy to cake but still can be used after crushing. Avoid rain or sunlight during transportation.
